(b. USA, 1960) Lance Dehné spent a lot of time building model airplanes, assembling erector sets, and creating art. Growing up in different parts of the world sometimes meant it was safer to be inside doing just that. A lifelong love of machinery, particularly airplanes, led him to pursue a career in engineering and become an accomplished pilot. This lends itself to a vast reservoir of ideas and techniques to spill over into the creative process. But even before having these resources at hand, the art has always been a mainstay; something that has been in the "picture" from the very beginning.

    Featured Recipe

Holiday Popovers- in honor of my brother Gary

1 cup of milk, 1-cup of flour, 2 eggs, salt.

    Pre-heat oven to 450 F.

Whisk eggs slightly then add remaining ingredients and whisk slightly to a pancake batter consistency.

Grease (not oil) “Popover” or “Texas Muffin” pan. Fill each pan void to about ¾ capacity.

Bake at 450 F for 15 minutes and reduce temperature to 325 F for another 25-30 minutes.

Do not open the oven to peak or they will fall. Hopefully you have a glass faced oven.

Enjoy with your favorite main course. May I suggest Prime Rib!
